Plastisol is a vinyl compound resulting from
the suspension of PVC particles within
a plasticizer (a substance added to materials
to increase workability). Plastisol is liquid
at room temperature and hardens to a solid
during the curing/molding process. The result
is a durable coating that resists aging, abrasion,
chemical attacks, corrosion and fire. The finish
can be glossy or matte, hard or soft, and virtually
any color (or no color at all). |
